#WhoAgainstGuns is pleased to announce another bonus commentary to add to the 12 we’ve already announced! Legendary producer of Doctor Who from 1974-1977, Philip Hinchcliffe will take part in a bonus commentary of episode 1 of The War Games!
Hinchcliffe was producer of Doctor Who during the first three years of Tom Baker’s tenure as the Doctor (seasons 12-14 of the classic series), where he presided over many all-time classics including The Ark In Space, Genesis of the Daleks, Pyramids of Mars, The Seeds of Doom and The Deadly Assassin just to name a few.
While The War Games was made before Philip began on Doctor Who it was directed by Philip’s friend the late David Maloney, who directed many of the standout stories of Philip’s time on the series. Furthermore, was made during the era when Philip began his career in television, so there will be much to discuss during his commentary on The War Games’ first episode.
